SMD crystalcrystal product databaseA piezo-electric SMD crystal is a stable, high Q resonator. Other names include; piezo-electric resonator, BAW resonator, and quartz crystal. Typical uses include timing applications, crystal filters, and crystal controlled oscillators. Some examples of a crystal oscillators are the clock oscillator, VCXO, TCXO, OCXO and VCTCXO. Filtronetics Inc can supply fundamental crystals up to 200 MHz. Our crystals can be in through hole or surface mount (SMD) packaging. Through hole crystal packages include HC-13, HC-51, HC-48, HC-49, HC-45, UM-1, UM-3, UM-4, UM-5, 3 x 9 mm tubular, and 2 x 6 mm tubular. surface mount crystal package includes 5 x 7 mm SMD, 3.5 x 6 mm SMD, HC-49 SMD, and UM-1 SMD. The practical frequency range for a SMD crystal is from 4 kHz to 600 MHz. Filtronetics, Inc utilizes flat, polished, fundamental, 3rd overtone, 5th overtone, and inverted mesa SMD crystal blanks in its crystal designs. Our SMD crystals have been utilized in space, military, undersea, airborne, testing, and commercial applications. We can produce from one to over a million SMD crystals for your application. When specify a SMD crystal the following should be considered. We will be happy to discuss your particular application with you.
